EPASS EB PMO

What do you do each day?
My days so far consist of training, meetings, customer engagements, employee engagements, recruiting, interviews, and lots of coffee!

What do you enjoy about working at Odyssey?
Without a doubt, it’s the incredible teamwork and unwavering support I’ve experienced during this transition. From LinkedIn messages to emails, chats, and calls, the Odyssey team has truly welcomed me with open arms. This warm reception speaks volumes about the company’s culture—Odyssey values its employees and actively gives back to the community. That sense of belonging and shared purpose is what makes working here so rewarding.

What is your current hometown?
Navarre, FL, we have some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. If you love to look for seashells, it’s a must visit. We also have the longest pier in the Gulf of America.

Where did you grow up?
A tiny town in south Alabama. Dozier, AL. It has one caution light. I actually have a really funny story about that.

Before working at Odyssey, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I spent one year laying tile in my younger days. It was extremely hard work but was very satisfying, using my hands to create something beautiful taught me the value of craftsmanship.

What three words would you use to describe yourself?
According to those that love me, Bougie Redneck Nerd, but hey, I’m fun.

Do you have a favorite quote?
“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” —Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Tell us about your family, including pets:
I have two beautiful daughters: Amber (25) works in Pensacola, FL for an optometrist, and Aria (15) is a 10th grader at Navarre High School. She has her learner’s permit—and I’ll admit, riding shotgun with her is a little scary! We also have two mixed-breed dogs. Marley Mae (6) is a Toy Australian Shepherd–Rat Terrier mix; she has all the Aussie markings but shorter hair, and she’s as loyal as they come. Cooper (5) is part Jack Russell (mix unknown), and although you shouldn’t play favorites…he’s mine. He’s loud, obnoxious, and loves to “argue.”

Do you have any nicknames?:
When I worked on Eglin in EBD, they gave me the nickname Rockstar.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I’ve accepted the fact that I’m now turning into my mother. I love to do jigsaw and word search puzzles. I’m a foodie, so I’m always trying the newest places with my friends. I also love to travel, last year I went to eight different countries and various other places in the states.

Where would you like to go on a dream vacation?
If you had asked me last year, it would have been Italy and Okinawa. I did get to knock those off my bucket list, however I would still love to spend more time exploring Italy. New Zealand is next on my list of must visit places.

Anything else you would like to share about yourself?
I’m very passionate about mental health. Since 2020, I’ve volunteered with the Okaloosa Walton Mental Health Association. Our efforts focus on fundraising to ensure local children and veterans receive the counseling services they need, as well as funding medications for anyone who comes in with a prescription and a need. We also organize outreach for the state mental hospital once a year, helping to bring awareness and support to those who need it most.
