Our 20’x20’ booth highlighted Odyssey’s role in strengthening every link in the kill chain, featuring engaging discussions at the Think Tank, a welcoming team presence, and opportunities to connect around the café tables. With interactive materials, mission-focused conversations, and a strong team presence, Odyssey reinforced its commitment to powering the purpose of our partners across missile defense and space domains.

Colorado Summer Party
We had a wildly fun evening at our recent Odyssey Colorado Summer Party at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! From stunning views to unforgettable animal encounters, it was a night to remember. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us—here’s to great people, summer vibes, and a truly unique celebration!

Beach Clean Up
As part of the Q3 Managers Meeting, Odyssey leaders rolled up their sleeves and took part in a local beach clean-up. The team worked together to collect debris, paint buildings, and refresh fencing—demonstrating Odyssey’s commitment to giving back to the communities where we live and work. This hands-on effort was a meaningful extension of our OdysseyCares initiative and a reflection of our Core Values of Commitment, Ambition, and Respect in action.

Poplar Animal Sanctuary Animal Run
Stefania Dobre, Executive Director, and Dr. Robert McLinden, Senior Program Manager in the Life Sciences Group, participated in the Poplar Animal Sanctuary Animal Run—an inspiring event dedicated to supporting the care and rehabilitation of rescued animals. Poplar Animal Sanctuary’s mission is to provide lifelong care for farmed and companion animals, offering them safety, dignity, and compassion. Events like this not only raise critical funds but also spread awareness of the sanctuary’s vital work in protecting and nurturing animals in need.

On Memorial Day, Odyssey’s Danielle Vance joined ASUVCW National President Rosemary Martin in laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. Dayton Area School Supply Drive
Odyssey proudly supported Crayons to Classrooms’ annual Stuff the Bus campaign, a school supply drive that helps ensure every student in the Miami Valley starts the school year prepared to learn. Through donations of essential items like notebooks, crayons, and glue sticks—as well as contributions made online—our Dayton team joined the effort to provide supplies for more than 55,000 students in under-resourced schools across the region.

Let’s celebrate the spirit of community and compassion!
Across Odyssey, our employees consistently demonstrate their commitment to making a positive impact through service and engagement. With several exciting initiatives on the horizon, there are numerous opportunities for everyone to get involved and make a difference.
Upcoming Events
First up, we have our support for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Pikes Peak Region. This incredible organization is dedicated to advocating for the best interests of children in the foster care system. By purchasing items from their Amazon wish list, we can help CASA volunteers continue their vital work in representing the voices of vulnerable children in court.
Odyssey is also proud to sponsor the Air Force Marathon on 20 September at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Our Spirit Station will bring energy and encouragement to runners in the final stretch of the race, while our team members participate in the marathon events throughout the weekend. This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate endurance, community, and the spirit of service alongside the U.S. Air Force.
Next, let’s lace up our shoes and join the Walk Against Suicide on 21 September. This event is a fantastic way to unite as a team and support suicide prevention efforts in our community. Whether you choose to walk, donate, or spread the word, your participation can make a real difference. Register today and be a part of this meaningful cause!
Also in September, Odyssey will be supporting Girls in Aviation & STEM Day on 28 September. Hosted at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, this large-scale event is presented by Technology First, Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, SOCHE, and FASTLANE in collaboration with Women in Aviation’s Huffman Prairie Chapter and the National Aviation Hall of Fame. The day will introduce young attendees to a wide range of STEM disciplines while showcasing the exciting opportunities available in the local area.
We’re also excited to announce our 1st Annual Odyssey Cares Blood Drive, set to take place in late 2025. Mark your calendars for 5 November, as we come together to donate blood and save lives. Confirmed donation sites include 565 Space Center Drive and 2424 GoG in Colorado Springs, with additional locations across the U.S. currently being finalized to make this a company-wide effort. Stay tuned for more details!
Together, we can continue to build a stronger, more supportive community. Let’s get involved and make a difference! Follow us on social media to stay connected and see all of our Out and About updates throughout the year.
