Summer Outings
In June, the C5ISR team got together for their summer outing. Leadership presented Spot Awards to several employees.
In August, Odyssey team members in Colorado had a fun filled afternoon at The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey in Canon City, CO.
In August, Odyssey teammates supporting the Armament Directorate at Eglin AFB in Florida got together for a luncheon to celebrate recent team successes and explore upcoming opportunities. Odyssey supports the Armament Directorate in Air Dominance, Direct Attack, and Agile Weapons.
Labor Day Liftoff
Ken Wanless, Space & Missile Defense Group Program Manager, was selected as this year’s recipient of the Labor Day Lift Off balloon ride in Colorado Springs. We received 16 peer-written nominations this year: thanks to everybody who took the time to nominate a colleague. Congratulations, Ken, and thank you one and all for helping with this great annual event.
Dayton Air Show
In June, Odyssey team members took in the incredible atmosphere at the 50th Annual Dayton Air Show in Dayton, Ohio. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to talk to us!
Golf Outings
In June, Odyssey team members participated in the Elmer J. Fuller Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by AFCEA International in Massachusetts. Odyssey was proud to be a cart and hole sponsor for the event. AFCEA events strengthen the Military, Government, Industry, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), and Academic Communities across Massachusetts.
Odyssey team members Odyssey was proud to Sponsor a hole at the August 2024 AFCEA IMAGE Golf Tournament, helping support STEM scholarships and programs. Our Teams played a mighty fine game! Big thanks to Sam Hanson, Anjoleen Himes, Rob Miller, Lindsey Lawton, Chuck Adams, and Linda Murphy for managing our booth!
Repping ODY Swag…
Over the years, we’ve had many employees carrying the Odyssey flag while on travel—both work and personal—by wearing their company Swag. We’d love to include a segment in the next Journey newsletter showcasing your smiling faces while traveling. Here’s our CEO Tom Portlock repping the brand while on a recent vacation in Scotland with his daughter.
