March 8, 2021 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, Ltd. (Odyssey), the incumbent contractor, was recently awarded a contract to provide research and development (R&D) non-personal administrative support services to Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU-D) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. This follow-on contract begins on March 8, 2021 and has a five-year period of performance.

NAMRU-D is a major Department of Defense (DoD) medical research commend and the home of the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory and the Environmental Health Effects Laboratory. As a subordinate command to the Naval Medical Research Center, NAMRU-D conducts aerospace medical and environmental health effects research to enhance warfighter health, safety, performance, and readiness.

January 14, 2021 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey, a leading provider of technical government services, today announced an evolution of its branding. A new, dynamic logo with updated colors and font will replace the current globe logo.

“We are at an important stage in the life of our company,” said Odyssey CEO Tom Portlock. “As we reflected on the success we have earned over the past two decades, we decided it was time to look ahead and introduce a revised brand identity that supports Odyssey’s continued evolution and growth as an industry leader.”

The new logo, a rounded hexagon, depicts forward movement yet preserves the O and S (Odyssey Systems) from the previous design. The gradient colors of yellow, orange, and red invoke progress, power, knowledge, and excitement.

The new logo and accompanying branding system will be rolled out over the coming weeks.

December 7, 2020 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey, as a subcontractor to BMA under the Army RS3 contract vehicle, won the Army Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) Regional Signal Training Site (RSTS) Support Services contract. Odyssey staffers will provide communications and cyber training and certification expertise to the 101st Airborne Division and 3rd Infantry Brigade at both Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Fort Stewart, Georgia.

September 28, 2020 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey was recently awarded IDIQ contracts in GSA OASIS Unrestricted Pools 3 and 4. These award complement the company’s current GSA OASIS contracts, Small Business Pools 4, 5b, and 6. The two new Unrestricted Pools expand Odyssey’s ability to bid on work in Engineering Services and Research & Development.

September 25, 2020 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey, as a subcontractor to a team lead by prime, Apogee, has been awarded an SMDC G37 Exercise and Certification and Evaluation contract. Odyssey will support Apogee and SMDC to plan and execute Tier 1 (Combatant Commands) and Tier 2 (U.S. Army) exercises. The team will also support the certification and evaluation of the Army Space Support Teams (ARSSTs), the 1st Space Brigade, and the 100th Missile Defense Brigade (GMD).

September 24, 2020 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey was awarded a contract to provide clinical research support services to the Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) Clinical Investigations Department (CID). Our clinical research associates will support principal investigators with the preparation of IRB submissions, recruiting and consenting subjects, maintaining regulatory documents, and collecting data for analysis.

September 23, 2020 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey was awarded a prime contract to provide scientific research support services to the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Bacterial Diseases Branch (BDB). Our scientists and research associates will conduct worldwide surveillance for diarrhea-causing bacterial prevalence and antibiotic resistance, and will support the development of a vaccine and medical countermeasures to prevent or treat the disease.

September 3, 2020 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey was recently awarded a follow-on contract to support The Air Force (AF) Program Executive Officer for Space (AFPEO/SP) at the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) and their mission responsibility for the development, deployment, maintenance, and sustainment of AF space systems providing early missile warning capability; environmental sensing; precision navigation, guidance, and timing; nuclear event detection; space launch capability; national and military satellite communications capabilities; launch range and network systems; advanced systems; and technology development programs.

September 2, 2020 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey was recently awarded a follow-on contract to support HQ U.S. Space Force/SpOC operations, requirements, analyses, planning, programming and budgeting, and Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) activities for space-based positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), which encompasses both operational capabilities for the Department of Defense (DoD; all four Services) as well as civil applications for the Departments of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation (DoT), State (DoS), and Commerce (DoC). Our staff will continue to support efforts to acquire and field the Global Positioning System (PNT/GPS) Enterprise as “the premier worldwide space-based positioning/navigation /timing (PNT) system.”

August 10, 2020 (Wakefield, Mass.)—Odyssey was recently awarded a contract to deploy and pilot our Advanced Mission Planning System (AMPS) software on behalf of Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSDI)’s Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) and Army Intelligence. The pilot will have hands-on involvement from senior leadership and end-users at the Pentagon, INSCOM, USASOC and FORSCOM. AMPS was specifically developed to support COCOM and Services requests for Mission Command of U.S. Joint and Coalition partners and to deliver real-time collaboration and workflow to support integrated visualization, planning, optimization and reporting on all platforms, payloads, and personnel across the global enterprise The pilot program is expected to run between 10-12 months and culminate in a decision on global, force-wide deployment.
