Odyssey Selected to Drive Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate
Wakefield, Mass. – Jan 19, 2026 — Odyssey, a leading provider of integrated defense capabilities and technologies, announced today it has been awarded the prime contract to partner with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB). Odyssey’s role supports building the weapons arsenal of the future, aligning with one of the Department of War’s highest priorities. This single-award, 5-year contract combines three predecessor contracts under one, upon which the Odyssey team will provide professional acquisition, engineering, test, logistics, scientific, research, financial, and specialty support. The ceiling value of this Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command contract exceeds $725 million.
Odyssey’s new contract will focus on delivering comprehensive support across Air Force armament programs, including air dominance, munitions, strike systems, long-range capabilities, agile and rapid-response operations, and next-generation weapons development.
“Our mission has been and will continue to be ensuring the warfighter has the right tools, at the right time to ensure operational success,” states Matt Kasberg, CEO of Odyssey. “Over the past two years, we’ve proven that our purpose-built team develops and delivers capabilities with engineering excellence with unmatched reliability at breakthrough speed to give operators every advantage possible without delay.”
Odyssey’s subcontracted teammates include Applied Research Solutions, Astrion, Canvas, COLSA Corporation, Credence, DCS Corporation, HX5, and Torch Technologies.
“This contract award is a milestone for our team and our ability to compete, win, and lead critical mission areas with flawless performance,” said Julie Vida, Vice President of Growth at Odyssey. “Because this team consistently executes with purpose and the warfighter as the priority, we deliver the outcomes required by today’s fast-moving warfighting ecosystem.”
Odyssey is expanding its physical presence in Florida’s Emerald Coast region, opening an additional U.S.-based office directly outside of Eglin Air Force Base (AFB) in February of this year. The new office location will support Armament Directorate operations as well as other USAF customers the company supports at Eglin and in the surrounding area, including Hurlburt Field. Plans are also in consideration to expand Odyssey’s operations in Utah, just outside of Hill AFB, and in middle Georgia, by Robins AFB, in alignment with Odyssey’s growing presence at those locations, expanding further as a result of this contract win.
