A New Odyssey HR

Hello Odyssey teammates,

As we collectively look forward to what will hopefully be a much brighter 2021, I wanted to give everyone some human resources updates that will result in serving all of you as efficiently and effectively as possible. Our most important employee-focused goal for the new year is to make it as easy as possible to get the HR help you need when you need it!

  • Name Change—TMS to HR:
Many of you many know the corporate department that helps you with benefits and all HR-related issues as Team Member Services, or TMS. Starting on January 1, the department will be known as Human Resources to better align with the services you expect from us.
  • Help Desk to Personal Contact:
Early in the new year we will move away from the help desk ticketing system currently in place for requesting HR help. Filing a ticket will be replaced with personal interaction with the HR team via phone, video chat, and email. Stay tuned for more details soon! The help desk will remain for IT support.
  • Department Realignment—New Resources:
We are currently reviewing, assessing, and realigning department resources. As this is finalized, we will be sure to keep everyone updated. In addition, we are also in the process of hiring an HR business partner who will ensure that our new approach meets the overall needs of everyone in the organization as well as the company’s mission.
  • New HR Leader:
I wanted to formally introduce myself as the new HR Director. My name is Nancy O’Neill and I joined Odyssey in November. I am excited to be a member of the Odyssey team and leading this important evolution with the support of the owners. I offer you 20 years of HR experience and leadership and enjoy being an advocate for employees and a strategic partner to management. I look forward to working together to build a best-in-class HR function we can all rely on and be proud of.

Thank you for your patience as we move through this important transition. We appreciate your support as we create programs that promote and improve your experience and engagement as an Odyssey employee and extend our culture of recognition for a job well done. As things progress, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Here’s to an exciting and prosperous new year for all of you and for Odyssey!

Sincerely,
Nancy O’Neill
