Odyssey encourages your professional growth and career development.

We will support you with reimbursement of up to $5,000 per calendar year for continuing education through a regionally accredited program that offers growth in an area related to your current role, or that might lead to promotional opportunities.

Continuing Education May Include:

  • College Credit Courses
  • Continuing Education Unit Courses
  • Work-Related Seminars
  • Annual Dues
  • Professional Societies
  • Certification Tests

Please Note:

  • All employees are eligible after 6 months of employment
  • If an employee voluntarily resigns within twelve months of course completion, they must reimburse Odyssey in full for the course fees
  • Employees are allotted $5,000 per calendar year for tuition reimbursement—please note, the year of reimbursement is the year the course ends, not the year it began
  • Employees must submit the Learning & Development Pre-Approval Form (go to UKG Prosee directions to the right) and receive approval from their manager and from HR prior to the course start date, membership renewal date, or certification renewal date
  • Once the course is completed, all employees must submit the Learning & Development Reimbursement Form and attach an invoice and proof of a grade of B or higher, or a certificate of completion
  • Please do not submit the pre-approval and reimbursement request at the same time—reimbursement requests must be submitted after the course is completed
  • If you are requesting pre-approval for a membership fee, you can submit the Learning & Development Reimbursement Form immediately after approval
