Odyssey was honored to support and sponsor the AFCEA Lexington-Concord Chapter’s State of the Center address featuring keynote speaker and AFLCMC Commander, Lt Gen Donna Shipton. Lt. General Shipton highlighted the importance of the Center mission and resources, noting critical accomplishments supported by members of our Odyssey team that serve in AFLCMC and Directorate organizations. Members of the Odyssey team actively engaged in the event, to include Coree Chandler and Keith Taylor from our Program Executive Office (PEO) Digital organization, Ariella Brown on the AFLCMC Center staff, and Liz Downing, Human Resources. This past holiday season, Odyssey team members from across the country volunteered at Wreaths Across America, visiting local cemeteries and laying wreaths on the tombstones of the brave men and women who kept us safe and made the ultimate sacrifice. We thank everyone that volunteered!

Erin Butt, Odyssey’s Director of Proposals & Marketing, and her family visited Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina, where they were given a private tour by Apache pilot and Odyssey consultant Justin Sadeghian.

WRAIR and NMRC Employees Catered Luncheon
Odyssey team members Stefania Dobre, Executive Director, Medical, and Robert McLinden, Program Manager, celebrated the successes and hard work with some Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) employees outside the WRAIR/Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) with a catered luncheon.

Eglin Holiday Party
The Aviation Group hosted our Eglin team on 8 Nov 2023 to a great evening at Dewey Destin’s Harborside, right on Destin Harbor. Matt Kasberg, COO, Dan Gordon, Aviation Group Executive Director, Brenda Weatherspoon, Aviation Group Director, Brian Cantrell, Aviation Senior Manager, and Erin Donlan, Director of Air Force Capture, were in attendance along with local employees from both the Aviation and C5ISR Groups. Great food, beverages, and conversation were enjoyed by everyone. We even had a couple of porpoises show themselves for our enjoyment!

Dayton Holiday Party 
The Dayton office held its annual holiday party on 26 January 2024 with Brenda Weatherspoon, Aviation Group Director, ensuring that everyone had a great time. We were fortunate to have Odyssey leadership in attendance with Tom Portlock, CEO, and Kevin Connolly, CFO, present, as well as several distinguished guests including Dan Gordon, Aviation Group Executive Director; Stefania Dobre, Medical Group Executive Director; and folks from the corporate staff from HR, Security, Talent Acquisition, and Business Development. Employees from the Aviation, Medical, and C5ISR groups participated in this event and enjoyed good food, beverages, and lots of conversations.

Langley AFB Employees Holiday Dinner
Continuing with our holiday activities, our multi-contract team at Langley AFB held a holiday dinner at the Vanguard Brew Pub & Distillery. Hosted by Cindy Callahan and Aaron Hairston, it included employees from our HBB, TDLOMO (Link-16), FIRES, and ACC A6 Teams. By all reports, it was a great time and the first opportunity for all four teams to get together over cocktails and buffet dinner.

Medical Group Visit—Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) and Navy Refractive Surgery Center in San Diego
The Medical Group’s Stefania Dobre, Executive Director, Danielle Vance, Program Control Analyst (PCA), and Tonya Torgeson, Director Strategic Capture, had the pleasure of visiting with our employees, customers, and partners at NHRC and Navy Refractive Surgery Center in San Diego. We are extremely grateful for all of their continued support towards optimizing the operational health and readiness of our armed forces.

Colorado Springs Holiday Party
casino nightIn January 2024, Space & Missile Defense Team Members in Colorado Springs hosted an annual Holiday Party at the View House restaurant in Colorado Springs. The theme for this event was Casino Night. A total of 250 people were in attendance and enjoyed an Italian meal and great conversation with co-workers in a warm environment that included an outstanding/unobstructed view of Pikes Peak. Most of the employees had a great time in the Casino Room.
